THE YEARLY VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2007

has finally come to an end!!

Though I am so tired, well not only me, I am sure all the facilitators of this event, Ranch Bosses of each Group, and Crew Leaders are absolutely EXHAUSTED, but I know this one thing for sure:

ALL OF YOU WILL MISS THE CHILDREN!!!.. CAUSE I MISS THEM TOO!!

Well honestly, eventhough you have to tell them again and again not to do this and not to do that, teach them how to do, take care of them so that they won't drown in the pool, SOME gave you so much STRESS and made you so ANGRY that your BLOOD PRESSURE shot up to its MAX, on the verge of EXPLODING, yet we all still MISS them and LOVE them!! Am I right?? Give me a "WAH-HOO" ??!!... if you agree!! haha..jk jk

I really really do MISS them. Knowing that I would miss them, I had to take individual shots of each child in my group, to keep it as memory. Hoping to look at it when I am old and laughing away when thinking of all the cute and mischevious acts commited by them..XD Well who knows, I might see this one child again??!! But I hope deep down in my heart that they will join us again in this wonderful yearly event by GCC!! =)

Just a brief picture of this years VBS - the AVALANCHE RANCH ADVENTURE - A Wild Ride Through God's Word.

There were five teams: Skye, Shadow ( my team), Ranger, Buc, and Boss.

This year, VBS made a new attendance record - over 280 children came!! That was a miracle and we thank God for that !!! God just knows how to draw children in =) He is just great!

But most importantly, many souls were commited to the Lord, souls were saved, and lives were recommited again!!

In conclusion to that,

I AM TIRED BUT I HAD A WONDERFUL, FANSTATIC, BOMBASTIC TIME!!

ONG YEE KEN!! I will miss this guy man...one of the most obedient child in my group. The smallest size yet most cooperative!! See you next year, Ken! =) Glad to have met you!!

Xiang is his name!! He enjoys making fun of me for not being able to speak Mandarin..haha however, he loves to follow me everywhere! =)

This cute guy places a big smile on my face..cause he is always SMILING!! He acts like he is in the world of his own..XD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MUM!!!

Mum, do you know that today is a very very special day!!?? 26th November...was the day you were born.

Very sorry that I did not make you a card, or gave you a flower. However, instead of making you a card or giving you a flower, I wanted to do something different and that is writing my deepest gratitude as your son on this blog - letting those who read know how great a mum you are to me.

I am glad that I have a mum like you. There were occasions when you did not allow "that thing" to be the way I wanted, and in my frustration and anger, I sometimes felt that I would rather have a mum that would allow me to do what I want.

But as years go by and as I have grown in maturity, looking back at how you stopped me from doing the things I wanted, has made me the person I am today. And I am glad that you placed a stop to it before matters got bad or worst.

I am sorry for quarreling with you and arguing with you over unimportant matters. Sorry for the times when I hurt your feelings. I hope that you will forgive me. Sorry for the times when I made you angry and upset, because of all my nonsense and stupidity. Thank you for being so patient with me. Tolerating all the problems that I gave you, be it at home or in school.

You could have put a stop to all the problems that I gave you by throwing me out of school and placing me in a public school, but you did not. And I am indeed grateful!! Thank you..=)

Mummy, thank you for all the painful sacrifices you made to raise jie jie, ling ling and myself all these years. I pray that all the strength, time, labor, wisdom, and tears that you have given to us, God will return to you in blessings : press down, shaken, and overflowing!

Thank you for teaching me, whether it is the Word of God or the Lifepacs, cooking for me, providing for all my essential needs, correcting me, directing me in the right path, and most importantly, thank you for LOVING ME!! hehehe..=)




One very amazing thing about my mum is, she is able to teach us something that she herself is not very good in. She is able to teach so well, that we have become much better than her. Not many people are able to do that.


For example you are not really good in a certain subject, and you are given the responsibility to teach someone else the subject. When you teach the person, the person is able to understand, and in the end do fantastically well in it.


My mum is that kind of a person. =)


In conclusion , I would want to wish my wonderful mum a:

FIRST DAY

Remember the date?? Does it sound or look familiar to you?? Come on I know you know..keep guessing....XD

If you were able to guess it, great job, but for those of you who just could not figure it out...well it is ok..

( drum roll...) the Grand Opening of the new AEON JUSCO in Bukit Tinggi. It is known as the third-largest shopping mall in Asia and it is in KLANG!!! How good God is..haha..not needing to travel a great distance to a shopping mall - what with the rise in the price of petrol!!!

I was delighted to be able to go on the first day because if you know "klang people", when something new is up, it becomes the "hot spot". Everyone will rush to the 'hot spot', or if it is an item, people will Q-up to buy it.

It was a struggle trying to get into the carpark because it was packed with cars. However, my dad was patient and willing to wait until we finally got a parking spot. It is like finding gold when you find a parking spot in this madding crowd! haha..=)

When we go in..........we went SHOPPING!!!

AWARDS NIGHT IS OVER AND SCHOOL IS OUT!!!

Awards Night was great yesterday! It was the first time after 8 years since the birth of GRC, that this wonderful and unforgettable event was held in Grace Klang.


All the preparations and plans went perfectly well.


I was thrilled to see some GRC graduates last night.They came and celebrated Awards Night with us.


The worship was good! I thank God that He was in control of the whole thing. He was the one who taught us to worship Him in truth and in spirit. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my worship team members, they are:

Oh yes, the MCs of the night were Dexter and Jaclyn. Kudos!


I am proud of those who performed in the Klang Musical Mime (KMM). You guys and gals put a smile on my face last night you performed. Keep up the good work and you little ones were really bold and courageous to stand up there!! I am literally bowled over!=)

Now to PJ and USJ, what can I say?? Only one word for USJ's Music Medley and PJ's Skit (Cross Testament)...FANTASTIC!!


PJ-ians..TWO attributes that I saw while you people were practicing yesterday in the morning were DETERMINATION and SUBMISSION. God bless you all for that!


And lastly to all those who went up on stage to present their poetry, scripture reading, famous speech recitation, piano solo and bow and strings solo....YOU DID GREAT! Continue to use your God-given talents for God's glory! =)


In conclusion , I AM SURE GLAD THAT A YEAR OF ACADEMICS IS OVER!! The hols. are here and I am going to enjoy it to the MAX!! ahahaha..XD

THE HOME RUN

Bob was caught up in the spirit where he and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the NINTH inning with two outs.

They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate whose name was Love. Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails. The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love. The next batter up was named Godly wisdom.

Satan wound up and threw the first pitch; Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass, because Godly Wisdom does not swing at Satan's pitches. Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, because Godly wisdom never swings at Satan's throws. The bases were loaded.

The Lord then turned to Bob and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace. Bob said he sure did not look like much! Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen. But Satan was not worried; his center fielder, the Prince of the air, let very few get by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; then it continued over the fence for a home run!

The Lord's team won. The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith, and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game. Bob answered that he did not know why. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, faith and wisdom will get you on base, but only My grace can get you home.

Ephesians 2 : 8-9 says ...

"For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, lest any man should boast. "

- ONLY GOD'S GRACE CAN GET YOU HOME -

This is a period of grace, never take it for granted

SORRY FOR NO UPDATES! MY INTERNET WAS OUT!!

It is so good to be back and start updating again!! haha..=)

Anyway, how are you guys?? How are things going on?? I hope it is great! Oh yes, HAPPY HOLIDAYS to you!! =) Unfortunately, my Centre has not break-off for the holidays, yet! It will only start on the 24th of this month. Can't wait for the holidays!!..hahaha..XD

Time is flying by!! It is going to be the end of a great year 2007!! How do you guys feel?? haha..happy? sad? As for me I am happy and at the same time sad! I am happy because I want to reach all my goals that was not completed this year, next year. However I am utterly sad because I want the HOLIDAYS!!! hehe..=)

Ah, our Awards Night is in Klang this year!! For those of you who does not know what "Awards Night" is all about. Well, it is actually a graduation night. A night where prizes will be given to the students! =) So do come and be part of it!! =)

SOMETHING ABOUT MY "TAMAN"

MY HOUSING AREA IS LIKE A "MINI JUNGLE!!!"

It is composed of so many different kinds of creatures! There are: snakes, all kinds of lizards, ranging from the household lizards seen on your ceilings to the monitor lizard that runs around in the smelly drain, various species of ants, today I saw another kind of ant. And I tell you, this is one of the most unique I have seen: let me describe it to you..it's length is about less than an inch, it is fast, and this is what amazes me. It body is metalic-gold in color. Its end body is shiny-metalic gold. Looking at it, it looks like an armor. Some has patterns on it..like a white strip of line across the "butt". Continuing on, there are also squirrels, and not forgetting the most mischevious creature - the MONKEYS!! There also eagles and goose!

Cool huh? But it is not always great you know..cause you have "long" friends visiting your home. Hope you get what I mean when I said "long friends"..haha..tht is a simple riddle for you..to solve..God bless!

A FULL DAY

I am so FULL now!! I went for two house openings today!! I ate so so much mutton!! ehehehe... It was absolutely delicious!! haha..=)

On the way to PJ to attend my dad's friend's house opening, I snap a few shots! Also, after I was done with my food, I went for a walk around my dad's friend's housing area to get more shot!

His housing area was beautiful, moreover with the cool weather after the heavy rain. It was a bit like Cameron Highlands.
