- GRC Student Leadership Camp 2007 -

Broga Camp, Semenyih..my destination, my campsite. it was all the events that took place in this campsite. before going for the camp, i had different feelings about it..sometimes i felt so happy that i was going, and other times, i was like.."must go for the camp meh??" but in the end, i finally went for the camp!! and i can testify to this, "I DO NOT REGRET GOING FOR IT!!" =)

- My Wonderful Teamates -

before starting on the events that was held, i would just name to you the names of my group members...my group was called "Alpha", a really cool name, and it was consisted of 9 people, and they are:

Lydia, Ian Fan, Jaclyn, Grace, Joel, Jernlyn, Sayfyril, Crystal, Sher Wyn, and myself.

I really enjoyed working with all of them..especially when we had to make the raft for the pond rafting, also when we were doing the obstacle course!! and i got to know Ian Fan better, because we were in the same dormitory..=)

- Events and Agenda -

if i were to write about the camp, it would be very long..so to make things easier..i am just going to write the main events and activities that took place in the camp..starting from..Day 1

Day 1 : when we got at the campsite, we were told by uncle Fan that there was no electricity..and that when there is no electricity..there is no WATER!!! wow..how great was that?!! no electricity and water...time flew by..at 4 something..we the Alpha Group had to prepare dinner, so we did all the washing, cutting, carrying, peeling, slicing, soaking and cleaning!! i really had a good time...at 6 dinner was served!! at 8 we had our praise and worship..and while we were praying, worshipping, and praising...the lights came on...it was my first time worshipping God in the dark...it was pitch black..and the only light that could be seen..was the flashing of the lightnings across the night sky...at 12..an old day had passed and a new day arose...

Day 2 : it was all the planned activities that were held on the second day...we had the obstacle course, the flying fox and the pond rafting!! the only part of the second day i love most was when we made the raft and of course the pond rafting!! we really worked together to produce such a strong raft!! and we won 1st!!

Day 3 : it was the last day of the camp!! and so we had futsal, cheer presentation and prize giving!! and Alpha won champions!!

i did not regret going for this Leadership Camp!! because i ave learned much throught it...i have learned that we need to have unity and we need to work as a team...there is no such thing as one man show..we all need to depend on one another..and..i also learned that..we (man) can plan and decide..but it always God that will direct the path..i learned that dependance upon God is important. so i am really glad i went for it..and oh ya..i learned how to apply what i have learned in Royal Rangers!!

SUNDAY + MONDAY = COZY AND LOVELY

it rained real heavily yesterday!! the church porch was flooded..everywhere I turned I saw pools of water..the worst thing was, I could not even get to go inside Kin Sun Restaurant because it was like a castle with a moat around it. after the rain, I could feel the coldness and cleanness of the air!! In addition to that, on Sunday, it was my first time stepping into a police station. We want to take picture but the girl's mother was scolding!! hehe..=)

today..being Monday..was even colder than yesterday..when Itook my bath today, the water was icy cold..it was like my parents placed ice cubes into the water, and as Iwas brushing my teeth..my knees were shaking. I was so cold.. i would never forget this experience! and will miss this kind of days..=)

What is LOVE? Is it just a four letter word? or is it just puppy love?? something that we use it for everything?? the real meaning is this:

LOVE is actually an act of waiting instead of demanding

LOVE keeps on being friendly to people who aren't really friendly back

LOVE doesn't insist on becoming one of the popular crowds

LOVE doesn't lose its temper when a brother or sister spends too much time in the bathroom

LOVE doesn't hold grudges

LOVE doesn't think you are better than others

LOVE doesn't brag

LOVE keeps on expecting the best

LOVE loves at all TIMES!!

from today onwards...let is show LOVE!! =)

WONDERFUL FRIDAY!

PROTECT DESTROY

the worship was great, it was done very well, the sharing was wonderful and we had two speakers...and both shared about the same thing...how great our God is..

after chapel..someone drew and gave me a picture of a "UNICORN." it was very well done...and can't tell you guys who that someone is...

And the day ended with TRANSFORMERS!! i was suppose to watch transformers on Monday...but unfortunately..my commander could not get the tickets so we had to delay until..FRIDAY!!

And so yesterday he called up and told be he bought the tickets...at 8:40 he came to pick me up...and 9:00 was the movie..we had to get there in time!! how? yesterday my commander drove like Initial D...

and thank God we got there in time..he went in and we sat right in the middle of the screen...i was in the centre!! had such a wonderful view...

the show was really really good...and the sound system was so loud...that the floor was shaking...each time the robots fought..or walked...i could feel the floor move..

overall everything went well...and THANK YOU SO MUCH commander DESMOND!

Monday is Boring!

Today was a very very emotional day!! I am really lazy to type so i will just tell you what emotions i went throught today!! I was happy, quite, shy, nervous, scared, tired, and bored! So that was the emotions i went throught today!! Don't have to ask about the shy, nervous, and scared part!! God bless!

And just to conclude...the day ended it a very sad news!! My commander when and check out the tickets for Transfomers...he called me and told me that we were going to watch...Wuhoo!! So excited..and a few minutes later..he called back and told me tickets "HABIS!!" Haihz..=(
